Excellent basic salary plus commission

Our client is looking for a Telesales Executive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideally you will have been working as a telesales person within another IT based organisation - however you may be presently selling insurance, mobile phones, card protection services, banking services, software, media etc. If you feel you have the relevant background then we'd be delighted to hear from you.

This is an interesting and exciting role within a young and dynamic organisation with excellent opportunities for progression.

You will be responsible for the evaluation and understanding of customer needs, resulting in the successful achievement of business

Your day to day duties will vary, but will predominantly consist of:

1. Reporting to the Product Sales Co-ordinator/Sales Manager at weekly review meetings.
2. Being target driven as agreed with your Line Manager.
3. Maintaining all records necessary to enable clear and accurate visibility of your activities.
4. Providing relevant support to all members of your team.
5. Generating new business through cold calling.
6. Being responsible for developing sales to existing customers in set areas.
7. Obtaining accurate sales information about likely business prospects.
8. Making prospective customers fully aware of the range of goods and services offered.
9. Keeping up to date with developments in the marketplace across the IT sector and be fully versed so as to keep your customers fully aware.
10. Canvassing support for seminars and other marketing activity.
11. Conducting telephone call follow up for mail shots and other marketing activity.


Skills / Experience Required:

1. Computer literate - MS Office.
2. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
3. Previous telesales experience - ideally within IT industry.
4. Team player.
5. Ability to self motivate, target driven.
6. Ability to work under pressure.

You need to be able to drive and have your own vehicle as this is an out of town location.
